Where did "Ryder Sloan Events" come from? We get this question a lot and the answer from Lauren is: "Before I was married, my name was Lauren Ryder Sloan. Ryder was my grandmother's maiden name and Sloan was my maiden name. I started the company while dating the man I knew I'd marry (which would mean I'd lose these names,) so naming my company after family is a way of honoring my past. Something I find so important to do as a Southern gal!"
